RVE Explorers:
A brand new FREE inquiry-based learning approach to RVE in Welsh Primary Schools
A brand new FREE inquiry-based learning approach to RVE in Welsh Primary Schools
A selection of FREE, dynamic, engaging RVE lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales, to explore a range of values through Christian Perspectives, all delivered by us in your classroom.
We aim to make the children to be excited, engaged in learning, developing personal skills of group-work, communication, and sifting text for evidence.
Built specifically for use in the new Welsh curriculum Framework, using current teaching and learning methods.
At present, you can choose from friendship, social media influences and rules. In the future, we hope to bring you an even wider range of topics to fit in with your needs.
We give you access to the lesson planning so that you can be confident that what we're teaching fits with your own classroom plans.
We are a group of volunteers working with the Christian Charity charity Menter Ysgolion Cymraeg, to write and deliver a selection of RVE lessons. Each series of 5 lessons is topic based and designed for the children to explore stories of people now and in Bible times. Children will be able to explore Christian views in various aspects of life such as friendship, social media influences and rules. Each lesson gives opportunities for the children to investigate for themselves, express opinions and draw their own conclusions. The lessons are aimed at years 5 and 6. Contact us to find out what topics available at the moment.
One of our QTS trained teachers will come to your classroom to deliver the course over a five week period (usually within one half term). We will give you access to the full resource e-folder for you and your head teacher to view in advance. We will bring our own printed booklets in which the children will write on their own, or in pairs. We will discuss resources and requirements with you before commencement, to help ensure that we can make things as simple as possible for you and the school.
